◆　古琴は紀元前からの歴史を持つ中国の伝統的な弦楽器。その20世紀中国を代表する演奏家、蔡德允が1970年代に残した貴重な演奏を２枚にまとめたコレクション。蔡德允は中国浙江省の出身で戦後は主に香港を拠点に活動、古琴の次世代への継承に尽力した第一人者でした（2007年に101歳で他界）。

◆　「梅花三弄」や「漁樵問答」、「平沙落雁」といった中国古典音楽の十大名曲を含む、27の古典楽曲を収録。金属や化繊とは違った昔ながらの絹製の弦が紡ぎ出す柔らかな音色と優雅な旋律に心が洗われます。音の余韻や隙間から風光明媚な景色が目に浮かぶよう。
